Tarot Readings and Mind Reading at a 21st Birthday Party in Kildare

Tarot in the Garden Hut

The setup for the tarot readings was something special. Out the back of the house there was a little hut, just the right size for a one-on-one reading, warm and cosy while the rest of the party carried on around it. People queued up to come in and I really appreciated that, especially the ones who waited in the rain and were still in great spirits when they got to the door.

When you're tucked away in a small space like that, away from the noise and the crowd, people just open up. People could come in on their own or with a friend, and the conversation could go wherever it needed to go. A lot of people shared some genuinely special things with me that night and I was grateful for every single one of those moments.

A Solved Murder in the Marquee

After the tarot readings I moved into the marquee for the mind reading show, where we found a certified psychic in the audience and put her to work solving a murder. There was real energy in that tent from the start, with everyone getting involved and trying to piece it together, and when we landed the prediction at the end with the whole room working together to find the right person, the reaction was everything you'd want from a live show.

That collective moment is what makes the format so special. It's not just one person on stage doing something impressive while everyone else watches. The whole room becomes part of it.

A Lovely Night All Round

The family were absolutely brilliant to deal with and made sure I had food and drinks and everything I needed throughout the night. Small gestures like that make a real difference when you're working an event and I was genuinely touched by it.

The setting itself was beautiful too. A gorgeous spot out in Kildare with a field of sheep across the road and a few little lambs in among them, and I genuinely loved being out in it. I'm always grateful when a gig takes me somewhere like that.

Happy birthday again, Caoimhe. I was delighted to be there and I'd love to be back with the family again.
