David Peace Predicts The World Cup

On Monday June 18th David left a prediction with PJ Coogan and the staff on The Opinion Line on Cork’s 96fm, Cork’s number 1 talk show.

On July 16th the day after the dramatic FIFA World Cup Final David returned to the show. Live on the air the box was opened and inside was the envelope PJ had signed 4 weeks earlier.

Upon opening PJ found 4 pieces of card with the following predictions:

  • Germany will no make it out of their group. (Last?)

  • Discipline will cost Senegal

  • Bale/Ronaldo will leave Real Madrid for Italy

  • France will win by 2 goals after Lloris scare beating the golden ball winner. Champions! (6-1-0)
